chicken broccoli stir fry

Ready to get a break from cooking and make something simple and super flavorful? This easy weeknight dinner will satisfy everyone and the recipe can easily be increased to feed a crowd.

CHICKEN BROCCOLI STIR FRY

You will need:

1 pound chicken tenders

2 cups broccoli florets, chopped

3-4 cloves garlic, minced

1 red onion, chopped

3 tablespoons sesame oil

2 tablespoons tamari

1 teaspoon chili flakes

Place the oil and red onion in a skillet and cook on medium heat for 5 minutes or until the onion is soft.

Add the garlic and chicken and cook until chicken is almost cooked through - about 5 minutes.

Add the broccoli, tamari and chili flakes.

Add 1/4 cup water.

Cover, reduce heat to low, and steam / braise the dish for 2-3 more minutes, or until the broccoli is fork tender.

Enjoy!
